UPDATE ON GIA INDIA OPERATIONS

Many GIA locations have returned to normal hours and services. We will update this page as changes occur. At each of its locations, GIA is taking the necessary precautions to ensure everyone’s health and safety. Here’s the latest update for locations in India:

Laboratory

The Mumbai laboratory is open for intake of polished stones with limited staff Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and clients may submit stones in person with an appointment. To schedule an appointment and receive instructions for stone return, please email, mumbailab@gia.edu.

The Surat laboratory is open Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. and is accepting submissions of polished stones up to 0.70 ct. The laboratory is accepting and returning stones using a courier service and clients may also submit items with a prior appointment.
