Designation: Instructor

Reports to: Director- Education

The job incumbent will be responsible for following:

• Conduct Gemology programmes and extra classes as per the GIA guidelines
• Address students concerns and attend to them promptly & effectively
• Interface with Director and colleagues.
• Counsels students regarding academic performance and methods for improvement.
• Maintain and foster sensitivity and respect for a culturally diverse classroom environment.
• Participate in Education meetings and training as required.
• Proctor tests; check papers and student assignments.
• Submit all required class paperwork and documents in a timely and complete manner.
• Submit final student grades to Student Services according to required schedule.
• Travel extensively within India and outside to conduct GIA classes

Required qualifications & experience:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Graduate or Diploma holder from GIA
• Relevant Work Experience
